The universities given below are the universities that we will be visiting during our stay in Madrid.

St. Louis University

Saint Louis University – Madrid (SLU-Madrid) is the European campus of the private Jesuit institution, Saint Louis University, located in St. Louis, Missouri. Established in 1967, SLU-Madrid offers a range of undergraduate and graduate programs, including a comprehensive Computer Science degree. The program covers essential areas like algorithms, data structures, software engineering, databases, and web development, with an emphasis on problem-solving and practical applications of technology.

The campus, located near Madrid's Ciudad Universitaria area, serves a global student body from over 70 countries. English is the primary language of instruction, and the average class size is 17, ensuring personalized attention. Students can benefit from internships and career opportunities within the tech industry, both in Spain and internationally. SLU-Madrid’s facilities include multiple buildings such as San Ignacio Hall, which houses the library, art studio, and auditorium; Padre Arrupe Hall for administrative offices and classrooms; and Padre Rubio Hall, with student lounges and the Office of Student Life.

Universidad Autonoma de Madrid

La Universidad Autonoma de Madrid (UAM), or the Autonomous University Madrid, is a public university founded in 1968 by the royal family. It is a widely respected university, being considered ne of the most prestigious universities in Europe and being ranked as Spain's top university. Furthermore, it has more than 30.000 students, making it substantially larger than Radboud. It has a large Computing Science department which performs research in collaboration with 3 other universities, one from Madrid and two from Barcelona. A fun fact about the uni is that, the king of Spain, Felipe VI, graduated from it with a bachelor's degree in law, and he holds the position of president of its alumni society!
